It has been a while since I have done a lifestyle post on the site. We’re not just all about cars, even most of the stuff we do is centralized around cars, we also like to share what we do in our down time and shine a little insight on some of our other hobbies. A couple of weeks ago we stopped by The Gr8 Vape located in Hayward for a little car meet as well as watch the Pacquiao fight. Vaping has become the new growing trend in the car community, simply because it is just like modifying a car! You can swap out the atomizers, the mods, the tips, etc, its fully customizable.
In this weeks Mobile Monday we have Christian’s STI click here to download and view sizes.
You can find more photographs here.
If you haven’t checked out this awesome documentary than you’re missing out on life! Check out The Outsiders Japan movie by Driftworks and find out the real origins of drifting and where it all began.
Here is this week’s mobile monday wallpaper of our favorite LS swapped S-chassis. Click the picture above to download and enjoy! For more pictures by BNC Photography visit my Facebook page here and Flickr here.
Shift Sector, before going we had only seen a short video and a poster showing some cars on an airstrip, but this was enough to get us enticed and we decided to check it out. Even though we got to the Coalinga Municipal Airport before most, it quickly began filling up with cars and trailers that boasted some of the nicest(and also fastest) cars we had seen in a while. This well-organized event definitely was something else; it really was about coming together to enjoy the awesome cars and have fun. Some of the highlights for us were the new Lamborghini builds from Underground Racing, English Racing’s two ETS powered GTRs, Rob Dyrdek’s old DC Shoes Camaro, and GoldRush Rally’s Aston Martin and Maserati. You knew you where in for a good show when even the parking lot has cars that you thought only possible in your dreams(Blue-Chromed M3). We would like to thank founder Ryan Fisher for letting us in and film and also the event volunteers and drag strip volunteers for making sure we were well hydrated.
Hope you guys enjoy the video – RNfilms
Feast your eyes on Matt’s gorgeous S13 coupe. In 2002 Matt started his search for a car, his guidelines for his search were simple – cheap and RWD. He ended up with getting this S13 coupe for only $300 and his build began. When he started his build there were very few people doing engine swaps in 240sx’s, he decided to go with an LS. He said He picked the LS because it was much more practical and cheaper than many other common engines like 2JZ’s, 1JZ’s and RB’s, he had already done SR swap’s in the past and wanted to do something different, parts are very easy to find for LS’s because they are fairly common and at the time no one else had done the swap.
Recently I was approached on facebook about sharing these posters. Normally I don’t post things from facebook, but these posters look awesome. Petrolified seems like a small group but they definitely have potential. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store.
