Today I had the opportunity to preview the RWB Porsche’s that will be unveiled at SEMA this upcoming week. It was quite a treat to finally meet the man behind the famous wide-bodied track Porsches, Nakai-San.The event brought together a diverse group of car enthusiasts and even big names in the local automotive industry. Overall, the atmosphere was great, I met interesting people, I got to see some stunning cars, and ate some delicious Korean BBQ. Thank you Mark Arcenal at Fatlace x RWB Garage for hosting the event and we wish you and the Hoonigans the best of luck at SEMA. Unfortunately, all I had with me was my iPhone, so I apologize for the quality of the pictures in advance.
Mark’s Porsche was dubbed the name “Pandora One” by Nakai, because he was inspired by the online radio website. I really like the Rotiforms on it because it gives the car a classic track Porsche feel without over doing it.
The three RWB cars were staged inside the warehouse, where one could find snacks, a keg, and good music.
If the sign behind the DJ looks familiar, it’s the Bape sign from the LA store.
The lovely Hoonigan Porsche was rocking some Fifteen52s.
I talked to Nakai-San and he said that this car was built as a street car with track performance in mind.
Of course, I had to meet the man who made these awesome cars.
