Wuste Las Vegas Coverage Pt. 2 : Day One

One of the defining characteristcs of Wuste Festival, is that it is full of clean cars and good people. For this reason, one of the first stops after our 600 mile drive was a well deserved bug cleansing with some of the best folks around! The Wuste app which was created for the event goers to use over the weekend actually directed us to a nearby low car friendly car wash. This was just the beginning of an epic day!

Pablo getting his racekor squeaky clean.

We all gave each other the highest of fives after successfully making it to Vegas and detailing the whips.

Apparently someone who goes by the name “Big Freaky”  left their mark behind for everyone to see. Right on Big Freaky!

After our clean car game was on point, we headed back to the Palace Station for the first part of the registration process.

All car show participants and passengers were required to sign up online in advance to receive wristbands for the event.

We also had the opportunity to swoop the 2012 Wuste shirt!

Our first meal in Vegas consisted of some Slamburgers (aka Hamburgers) at Johnny Rockets. Now that I come to think of it, this was the first meal we had since we drove from San Francisco. Mmm Bread!

The parking lot was already filling up with clean euro rides like this Cabrio, I call it the Camber-io because of the crazy camber in the rear. Keep in mind that all of the pictures that follow are just in the parking lot one day prior to the actual show, I hope it gives you a sense of the sheer quantity of cars at this event.

Holy Camber Plates Batman!

It was even rocking some Blast Pipes with those widened steelies! Easily this is one of my favorite cars at Wuste so far!

We met Renee, the owner of this E28 BMW Rockin’ some Stanceworks livery and Style 5′s! It’s nice to see girls in the scene, keep up the good work Renee!

Static Low C-Class. This car was blowing minds left and right!

Did I mention it had a twin? These C-Classes are both tucking rim and beautifully done.

Super clean Passat Wagon on Mercedes Alphards. The owner told me that it’s for sale right now too!

It wouldn’t be a Euro event without some teal wheels, this car was looking very trendy with the roof rack and bike!

Carsxhype Sticker collection spotted on a MK4 Jetta!

The use of OEM wheels was very prevalent in the parking lot, this MK3 Jetta is a perfect example of the Clean OEM+ styling going on. Mixing Mercedes/Porsche/Audi wheels is very common to update the look of the car.

Every minute more and more people seemed to be arriving!

This is the interior of a Vanagon with something very special in the trunk.

A 350 Chevy Small Block V8 is hiding under that boot lid! In case you were wondering, yes the owner actually drove it from Nebraska!

Lowness was found in every nook and cranny!

As the sun began to set, the second portion of registration began as well as the rooftop get together at the Palace Station Hotel. In the foreground is Rob’s E36 on some rare Kenesis wheels.

Immaculate style on this MK2.

Widened steelies with polished lips look proper under those fender flares.

Euro meets have tons of customized plates. I have never seen one like this which was fitting for a lifted Toyota 4runner!

This year Range Rover wheels were very popular and I can see why! They look great on everything from Mk3 to MK5!

Hammered MK6 fresh in white!

Very loud colorway on this E39 tuckin’ those BBS! We saw this car driving on the Las Vegas strip later that night too!

This old school air cooled was hiding out amongst the modern vehicles.

To give you some perspective of the rooftop get together, this is about 1/4 of the rooftop viewed from our hotel room. Such a great way to end the night before we went to sleep. Be sure to check back soon for the Wuste 2012 Show coverage!
