Wuste Las Vegas 2012 Coverage: Part 3 The Main Shebang!

Wuste Las Vegas is what you make of it. To some it’s a non-stop weekend long party, to others its a chance to catch up with old friends, and for many it’s a chance to brush shoulders with industry leaders and internet famous cars and their owners. To me Wuste was a mixture of all three and one epic adventure I’ll never forget. I cant quite remember who said it, but Wuste is just full of good people. For those of you who don’t know, Wuste is an epic gathering of Euro cars that takes place on the Las Vegas Strip (Well only a couple blocks away) I’ll take you through a journey of the main show event day!

The cars began rolling in to stage for the show. This MK4 and MK6 Jetta Wagon are posted up at the Winn VW booth. We actually cruised past these guys on the highway on our way to Las Vegas from SF.

Two of some of the most anticipated cars of the show parked briefly next to each other. Mark Arcenal of Fatlace’s RWB Porsche and Brian from Rotiform’s sleek machine. I was surprised it wasn’t rocking the BBS RS’s.

The crowds began to gather as the premier parking vehicles were staged.

Everyone was down to see all of the cool projects being built like this MK4!

I was so happy I spotted this Harlequin MK3 on NUE’s. This is actually the first one I’ve seen in person, The owner is actually from the Rotiform Crew. Great looking car!

The sun began to beat down on the crowds but the number of people just kept growing!

This Jetta on BBS RS was simply mint!

I needed to get out of the heat for while so I headed over to the AWOL/Wagenwerks/Dubkorps/Rotiform tent setup.

It had a nice military theme going on, complete with netting and some ammo boxes and ordinance pieces.

Tucked away inside the Sprinter van was the famous AWOL sticker wall. I’d like to thank JJ Larson for letting me put up the Carsxhype sticker inside the van! I spy Fatlace, AirLift, USDMFREAX in there too!

Rotiform brought out their Mercedes SL roadster rocking some TMB’s

Stretching tires is what V-dubs do well.

Super Clean Mk2 on BBS RS.

One of the most famous cars at the event was the AWOL RS4 Wagon. This thing has so much presence from the matte black paint all the way down to the step lipped BBS RF’s.

Slammed MK5 looking oh so fly.

The piece de resistance. Mike Burroughs E9 BMW on HRE Wheels. I was fortunate to meet him and talk a little bit about Stanceworks and the whole HRE wheels retro reintroduction. Nice meeting you!

Some of the Stanceworks Crew, Cody, Andrew and Mike.

The Fifteen52 swag wagon.

BBS wheels seemed to be one of the most popular choices at Wuste.

Our very own hometown hero’s car that belongs to none other than Mike Pama. MK4 Golf  laying frame on AirLift bags and cream BBS CH’s. A rare case in which the car is literally clean on the inside and cream on the outside.

Near the PAS Mag booth, lied a gutted Lamborghini, Not quite sure what the story behind this is, but it caused quite a commotion.

I will leave you with a shot of the wheel from the Rotiform Lowroad recently wrapped in gloss white vinyl.

Tune in for our next installation of Wuste coverage later this week! There are so many cars still to come!
