Passion is an abstraction which is indefinitely impossible to explain to another person. To explain why you have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours on a car that will never be finished is very confusing to most people. To explain why you would wake up at 4AM to to drive to an event in which you park your car all day is also very perplexing. Welcome to Seven Stock 16, the largest Mazda Rotary event in America. From track to stance, everything Rotary is welcome to join in this commemoration of Mazda ingenuity.
Roll call started early Saturday morning at 6am. Before people could roll in, we lined the cars up by generation.
These battle ready FC’s do not play around.

The legendary 787 which won the 1991 Le Mans was truly a spectacle to see!
The Mazda 56 is my favorite supercar!
For the first time in Mazda history, all of these Mazda legends were showcased at the same event.
Thank you Miura Masato for coming out from MZ Racing, Japan! It has been a great honor shooting with you. Next time we meet I will be able to speak more Japanese!
Although I haven’t slept right in the past few days and have been running around taking pictures for hours, I am still very humbled to be part of this experience. Passion drives me to work hard. It’s not about the money or the fame, but for the people I love to work with. I hope to see you guys next year!

Great photos!! I was there too, I probably saw you and didn’t know who your were. I was a volunteer in charge of Mazda and Miata parking.
I think I remember seeing you there! I was at the corner during the roll-in directing people to turn right at the corner. I was wearing all black with an orange traffic vest haha
Hi Alan,
Thanks for this insight look into the SS16 event.
I am from South Africa and is longing to one day be a part of SevenStock.

Its really appreciated

Hey man, thanks for the coverage!
Just a note, you might want to revise some of those captions! That 202 is not the 55 that won in 1991 and that black Miata is definitely not a track car with those crap tires and steelies. No offense to the owner, its still a beaut.
Thanks,
Eddie
