Arguably, the S2000 is one of the best Honda cars ever produced. In its’ stock form it turns heads for what it is, but Billy’s S2k doesn’t just turn heads…it breaks necks. When I first met Billy his car looked very different. It was the stock Silverstone Metallic sitting on 17” gun metal gray BBS LM’s. The car had a “modified OEM” style to it but was also slammed on its’ nuts….and did I mention it was boosted too. Billy is quite the connoisseur when it comes to the S2000…he owns 5 of them, and he easily kept this transformation a secret.

When I finally saw the final form of an already outstanding car, I was just blown away. The New Imola Orange popped so well, and definitely suited Billy’s style. I had the opportunity to shoot his car a few weeks after it came out of the booth and at that time he was still sitting on the BBS’s but with fatter tires in the rear to compensate for the loss of traction spinning into 4th gear….and if you’re curious this car makes well over 600+ hp.

He then stumbled upon a deal he couldn’t pass up. A set of Work VS-XX in white (18 X 10 +18 & +22) and picked them up for a steal. Although Billy prefers the more functional look, you can’t argue that the Works don’t compliment the orange nicely and the fitment is just on point.

Words from the owner: “My journey began in 1999 when the first S2000 showed up at my local Honda dealership. I saw it sitting on the lot, a black AP1, and instantly fell in love with it. I knew I had to own one someday. Throughout college I struggled to make money to get an S2000, and well now, I own 5 S2k’s with the New Imola Orange being the main of all of them…for now.

The car before this beautiful Imola Orange setup use to be the stock Silverstone color. I honestly just wanted “minor” front end cleanup because of all the rock chips and scratches. Well, my buddy who manages the body shop that I brought my car to sort of talked me into painting the entire car. He took my car and started prepping and sanding even before I had picked a color, but when I finally decided on the color he was flabbergasted. “You really want us to paint your car orange!?!?!” I was satisfied with the color and told him to not make me regret it. As soon as they laid the first couple of coats down I knew that this would just break some necks. ManPower Body Shop hands down did an amazing job and I couldn’t be anymore happier.

This car couldn’t be possible without the love and support of my girl Rosa Le and family/friends all who stood by me and pushed me. Would also like to thank ManPower Body Shop for the amazing job they did on the car and to Bryan Meyers (B Ry/BTM Graphix) for shooting the car.”

Billy has much more in store for the S2k…and I’m not allowed to share just yet, but you might just catch another one of his builds in the near future. And you can bet, it’ll be an S2000.
