MDU (Midwest Drift Union) Streets of Detroit is one of my favorite tracks because it combines streeting- where drifting originated from and competition drifting in one. Its hosted at Michigan Central Station in Detroit, MI. It is an incredibly unforgiving track, drivers are going at track speeds around corners on the street with 8″ curbs and street signs to catch you if you make a mistake. By the end of the event I believe there was 1 street sign left of about 5 that were on the course!
It was nice to see a variety of chassis competing, everything from E36’s to a GTO were out there sliding.
Yeah, that’s right. A RWD STI, and he was doing damn good.
It was rad to see these 2 e36’s going at it, different engines but similar power and driving skill made for quite a few dead even runs.
Such a long and heavy car but he makes it work somehow, and incredibly well at that.
Thanks for checking out my coverage! My full album can be seen here and I will add more to it tonight.

The final results have yet to be posted, but stay tuned and I will update this post when they are!
