Sometimes its not about having a show car, sometimes its not about having a slammed bucket, sometimes its just about having a car that’s truly about you, something that doesn’t follow fads, rather, someything suited for your personal needs and tastes.

From the beginning, Gupreet’s Genesis is a somewhat unique chassis. That’s not to say that nobody has ever modified a a Genesis before, but in a day and age when FR-s’, 240sx’, and even 350Zs are the poster child for RWD fun, its easy to overlook modifying the boosted budget car from Korea. The Genesis, in my opinion, has fantastic body lines and engine potential under the hood.

Off the bat, the first thing that makes this Genesis stick out is its non-OEM wheels, an obvious must for any enthusiast. Gupreet choose to go with a set of Varrstoen ES1’s. The stance too, isn’t OEM but its also not dumped, it perfectly sits with no fender gap thanks to a set of custom Megan coilovers.

Not being crazy low and scraping on road reflectors means that he can invest into some go fast performance parts including Depo Racing O2 housing and downpipe, Custom 2.5inch exhaust with Ractive tips, Ams Intercooler with custom Intercooler Piping, HKS SSQV3 Bov, Custom 3″ intake with HKS filter, ATP Wastegate, Evo X Injectors, PRW Stage 2 Tune, and ATP Block Off Plate. Being an owner of a 4 banger turbo car myself, I’m sure these mods help the Genesis go like hell!

My favorite part of Gupreet’s Genesis is the way he has kept the body line clean by leaving it alone and just emphasizing certain parts, his exterior modifications consist of: Gloss Black Side Mirrors and Roof.

Carbon Fiber Grille, Custom Fog surrounds, and Custom Black Headlights With Paint Matched Projector housings.

and in the rear, a Diffuser, Candy Red Taillights, as well as a Shaved Trunk.

In addition to the custom Megan Coilovers, this Genesis also sports a host of suspension components from Moog and Eibach

Gupreet’s Genesis proves once again that sometimes you don’t need a lot of parts to have a great car, just the right ones.
