“The Ultimate Driving Machine” and “Sheer Driving Experience”, Tyler Cauley’s 1987 325 is all of that and more.  The E30 (non M3) platform is balanced, sleek and simple despite not having a whole lot of hp it is still a very sought after car.

Tyler’s 3 series coupe is sporting the original BMW Alpine White with the Cardinal Red interior.  Its sitting on 16 x 8.5 BBS RS wheels and Ground Control coilovers, but, it still retains that classic look and feel when it rolled off the assembly line.

As far as the power goes, the non-m3 variants got the short end of the stick.  Making less than 150 hp, Tyler swapped out the old engine with the S50 from the 1995 M3.  He started the re-build with 10k miles, ported head work, S52 headers, a custom 3″ exhaust paired with a TMS tune.

The exterior has been kept almost entirely original minus a few key touches.  Plastic bumper swap to shed some extra weight, OEM side skirts, IS spoiler, Euro Smiley headlights, Euro license plate filler and grill, and IS front splitter.

The interior features a custom Cardinal Red MTech I, M-stitched steering wheel with original seats, dash, and center console.
