Fd ll Slammed Society Coverage

22
Aside from of course watching Formula D, I drove all the way down from Norcal to see the car scene! Slammed society was where I was at most of the time (not just because I didn’t have seats to watch the drifting though :P ) Here’s our coverage of it, enjoi!

Random Snap.

Heres a snap I took when the Norcal crew rolled down to Long Beach for FD. You could call this a teaser.. Expect to see more of this car soon ;) .

Good Friday: Rolling into Slammed Society

The road trip to Long Beach for our Norcal crew has been nothing short of being epic. For those of you who follow us on Instagram, you know that my MR2′s shifter cable snapped on 152 near Casa De Fruta. What did I learn from that experience? Don’t go YOLO and overtake the Volvo wagon. Luckily, we weren’t too far from an MR2 shop, and the owner, Su and my fellow friend Anthony Achermann came to the rescue. We didn’t let some stupid cable stop us, we had one mission and it was to get our cars into Slammed Society in one piece.

Formula Drift: From The Bay To LA Preview

Going to FD this year was one epic trip! :D So many things went wrong, yet so many things ended up going right. The NorCal CxH crew all rolled down to SoCal to take over Long Beach! Here is just a preview, the full coverage will be up soon so check back, and make sure not to miss the video ;) .

Motion Auto Show is a new auto show organized by a well known car industry distributor in SoCal, Pro-Motion Distributing. How are they known you ask? Well, they were the former organizers for the ever popular SpoCom up until they sold the name just recently. Anyways enough of the history, here comes the tease.

Wekfest LA 2011: Part 2, Battle in Heaven

Wekfest LA was a thrilling experience for many and to some, the best car show that has happened this year at SoCal . Using Queen Mary as the venue was an Icing to the Cake for many. It complimented well with the celestial cars participating at the show. As you walked pass to each vehicle; one can feel the effort, patience, sweat and tears that was put into each vehicle by their respective owners. Truly this event was a success and was worth every penny spent by the guest and the exhibitors alike. Kudos to the collaboration of Weksos Industries and fatlace, conratulation guys for doing a great job and for putting a smile to our face.

Wekfest LA 2011: Part 1, Clash of the Titans (shutter happy)

wekfestla

LONG BEACH, CA The Day has come where the almighty Weksos Industries and the omnipotent Fatlace collaborated to bring the infamous NorCal Wekfest Carshow around the United States, and their first stop of their nationwide tour (Aside from the Traditional SF show) was Sunny Los Angeles! This is one of the car shows that I was most excited about; the only thing that bummed me out was the $20 general admission fee (since I wasn’t sure at first if I was going or not). Despite that fact, it was probably the result of my trait on being a cheap-a$$ (LoL) and yet after I waited in line for two hours and I finally got in; I can smell that it was already worth it. As I walked through the entrance, I was feeling butterflies in my stomach and I felt right at home. Click continue reading for more pics
