Aired Out xB.

Let me start off by saying that Jim’s xB is easily the cleanest and most well built xB’s I’ve seen before. Although he does not believe it is near being complete, it already looks so complete as is. But I cannot wait to see what he has planned for the future! Jim bought this xB brand new with the styling for the car already thought out in his head, and he has worked hard to bring that dream to life!

James’ Bossy XBox

First off I have to say this is one BOSS Xb. James’ has been working effortlessly on this car ever since he bought it back in 03. The car wasn’t initially meant to be the swaggin’ xb you see today though, it was bought just to be a daily driver. Then James went out to Vegas where he became close with the Bb Squad guys out there and saw what they were doing with their xBs. After attending a meet, the mod bug had gotten a hold of him. The car has gone through many different stages and it has gone through a long journey, but it finally made its way to the classy box you see today. Winner of the Best Scion @Blox 2012, check out James’ 04 Xb.

Farr Out: Christian Farr’s Scion XB

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away (Well it actually wasn’t too long ago) we met Chris at our Pre-Wekfest meet in San Bruno, CA. Quite a distance from his Rancho Cucamonga roots. He drove up because he was showing his car at Wekfest the next day. I was immediately drawn to his slammed Scion because I had never seen it before. It’s not very often that LA cars drive up en-masse to San Francisco. This is where our journey to shoot his car began. If you don’t quite recognize the backdrop it’s in the downtown area of Long Beach. SF to Rancho to Long Beach? What is going on here?

We had planned to meet Chris downtown for some of that compact urban Socal vibe to complement his Scion and the location couldn’t have been better.

Good Friday: Rolling into Slammed Society

The road trip to Long Beach for our Norcal crew has been nothing short of being epic. For those of you who follow us on Instagram, you know that my MR2′s shifter cable snapped on 152 near Casa De Fruta. What did I learn from that experience? Don’t go YOLO and overtake the Volvo wagon. Luckily, we weren’t too far from an MR2 shop, and the owner, Su and my fellow friend Anthony Achermann came to the rescue. We didn’t let some stupid cable stop us, we had one mission and it was to get our cars into Slammed Society in one piece.
